Open-Source Groupware Thetis ver.0.9.6 has been released! * Posting labels to Desktop screens of other users, attaching files to a comment to an item, and more! <Attachment files to a comment>

* Changes and Improvements: Post Label feature Post Label feature enables to post labels to Desktop screens of other users. Of course, it will be notified by RSS! Files can be attached to a comment to an item. Formerly, after selecting a folder on Items (BBS / List) or Folder Tree, man cannot reset to BBS display until clicking . This specification was not intuitive, and now we correct it like below: Items (BBS / List) screen will be shown always in BBS display as default. A shortcut to the last accessed folder is added on Select Folder popup-window. Last accessed folder will be selected as default when Folder Tree screen is shown. Man can select a description for a day on Timecard screen from history. Borders of views on Folder Tree and Group management screens can now be dragged. Items on News Tray on Desktop screen are now orderd by updated time instead of collected for every type. Not only comments to one's own items, but also comments to others' items to which one registered a comment will be notified by RSS and News Tray on Desktop screen.

  New version of Open-Source Groupware Thetis ver.0.9.5 has been released!

* Complement of the affer-the-fact management of Workflows and support of preservation of Attachment files in file-system on the server (so that large files are also uploaded lightly)! It upgraded further, and completeness has been increased.

* Changes and Improvements: Each of registrant and sanction Users can move and delete Items of decided Workflows now separately.   Copies are automatically distributed to all related Users when Workflows get finally decided so that deletion and movement of the Items come to be done each separately. Strage location for Attachment files of Items comes to be selectable in file-system in addition to conventional database.   One of Database and File-system (Directory) can be specified as the preservation place of attachment files by the configuration file, and Users can also be made to choose individually.   By specifying it as File-system, tens of MB or more of large files can also be uploaded. By Workflows and Templates of Items, it corrected so that images and attachment files might also be reflected in the created items. When displaying Schedules by Group or by Team, Schedule of each member can now be shown in calendar form in a popup-window. Popup-Calendar button has been added on Desktop. Although a private schedule was displayed as fur as its title and time zone on the screen by group etc., it changed so that it might not be displayed at all from those other than its members. Access to the database has been optimized and access frequency reduced. When the number of Users is hundreds or more, there was a case where time took 10 seconds or more for an administrator opening "Folder Tree", but speed has been improved sharply. "∧" button has been added on the Header-menu part, so that users can hide the upper part of the screen and expand the main screen. Designs, such as by Comments to Items and Workflows, have been improved. In addition, some bug-fixes.

November, 2008:
  RSS-Aggrigator ThetisCore ver.0.9.1 especially for Groupwares (for Windows / free of charge) has been released!
  * The Export tool of Timecard to Excel is newly attached.

The Timecard (Attendance sheet) of Thetis can be exported to Excel file. Since the output process is performed by the client side, even if it exports in large quantities, a burden is not applied to the server. By editing the template file on the client side, the format can be changed freely. Users can export their own Timecards in a package with a period specified, and also administrators can specify a Group and its members.

July, 2008:
  Free RSS-Aggrigator "ThetisCore" ver.0.9.0 (for Windows) especially for Groupwares has been released!

When detecting updates of registered sites, the panel like the left will pop up on the screen. Two or more RSS sites can be registered and a separate surveillance interval can be set to each. Supporting HTTP Basic authentication, it is the optimal as client application for updating detection for Groupwares which supports RSS which make Thetis first in a roll. Images attached to items on Thetis can also be displayed on a panel. Moreover it contains ThetisBrowser which enables access of one shot to Thetis with automatic LOGIN. It brings you a feeling of operation from which a browser is just a little bit different.

  Moreover, Thetis ver.0.9.4 has been released! (Open-Source and free, of course)

Implements Timecard menu (with paid holiday management). Office hours and recess can be inputted referring to the schedules for the day. Linkage with Free RSS-Aggrigator ThetisCore is supported。 In addition, it catered to various bugs and requests for improvement which brought on Demo-Site.

- （2007.12.14） Setup procedure on Windows (Vista / XP) has appeared at Installation.

Correspondence to the following faults of ~ver.0.9.3_1.
• Operations such as displaying or deleting don't work by Items (Workflows, Researches), Folders, Schedules, Equipment, Official Titles and Groups when including characters " or ' in their names or titles.
• An error occurs when updating the title or the memo of an Image without specifying any new image-file on Item Edit screen.

    (Moreover, including the changes to which we have replied as "Fix in the next release".)

A serious security bug was found in Thetis ver.0.9.3. Thetis ver.0.9.3_1 is the patched release of ver.0.9.3. (Patch1) There is a danger that the password of "SMTP-Auth" which is set on SMTP Settings column in General Configuration screen will be known by other users, when enabling SMTP-Auth. After half a year of hard enhancement period, we have just released new version of Thetis, ver.0.9.2. This version includes actually the huge improvement more than the difference in the version number of 0.0.1. Of course it is absolute FREE, under the terms of Modified BSD Licence.
